It's National Entrepreneur Day!

I never expected to be walking down this path of entrepreneurship, but I'm so thankful for this opportunity!

To be able to create artisan jewelry that you will love to wear and give is something that I do not take for granted. The freedom that being an entrepreneur gives me can not be underplayed since it allows me to be present to my family as well as to my customers. This business also has benefitted others on my team who in turn, contribute to the local economy. Among the best benefits is that LJ Artisan Designs has donated tens of thousands of dollars to deserving local nonprofit organizations in the 8+ years I've been in business. Now that is a positive impact! 🙌🏻

As we head into the busy Christmas gift season, I'd like to take this opportunity to encourage all of us to spend our dollars locally as much as possible. In lieu of mass-produced goods (oftentimes overseas in questionable labor conditions), let's support the entrepreneurs who strive to offer something different. Something made by hand, rather than by a machine. Something that will have a positive ripple effect on the local economy.
