The best anniversary gift!
On the 9th business anniversary of LJ Artisan Designs, I attended the Champions for Children gala benefitting the Children's Advocacy Center for North Texas. As a board member for this nonprofit organization, it has a special place in my heart. They serve children who have been severely abused and walk with them and their families through the process of justice and healing.
I donated this solid gold chrysacolla necklace to be auctioned off. Through a (very fun!) game of "last man standing" bidding, $32,400 was raised for the Advocacy Center!
10% of all LJ Artisan Designs sales proceeds go to a different local nonprofit organization every month. This is an integral part of my business and moments like this are so rewarding because I know that people will be directly impacted by this donation.
So many of you have supported me on this business journey and my hope is that you also can feel great about your purchases helping vulnerable and suffering people.
This month, we will be supporting Loreto House. They offer much-needed support and free resources to women and families dealing with unplanned and crisis pregnancies.
