These 5 stones came from  Thailand mid to late 1960’s when mom went to visit dad on base in Bangkok. Mom brought back a set of 5 stones for each of us girls (I have 2 sisters). My set includes 2 smoky topaz, 2 citrine and 1 white jade stone.  Leah put the citrine and topaz stones into gold settings so that my 3 granddaughters could have them as a treasure. We designed a setting for the white jade stone for me. 

Everything turned out beautifully!  I waited all these years until I decided it would be a treasure for my granddaughters for when they are around 18-21 to remember the history and love of having them made for them.

Lori’s parents thoughtfully purchased five beautiful gemstones while her father was stationed in Bangkok, knowing they would one day hold special meaning. Inspired, she approached me with the idea of transforming them into heirloom jewelry for her granddaughters.
